This is identical to the rapid rail and clip system only it does not use the rapid rails. This means that you must work our the spacings manually.

Normally to use this method a staple gun is a good idea as there will be a high volume of staples to fix to keep all the pipe secure to the insulation. An average of 3 tacker clips are needed for one meter of pipe.

The length of the tacker is determined by the underlying insulation thickness.
